Leonardo DiCaprio: Climate Change Denier Trump ‘Should Not be Allowed to Hold Public Office’

“The scientific consensus is in and the argument is over,” says an actor playing a scientific expert.

As noted earlier today on Truth Revolt, over the weekend tiresome environmentalist hypocrite Leonardo DiCaprio attended the inaugural South By South Lawn ( SXSL ) festival at the White House to promote his climate change film. He also took the opportunity to denounce Donald Trump as a science denier.

Prior to a screening of his new documentary ‘Before the Flood‘, which features such unbiased scientific geniuses as Barack Obama, John Kerry, and Pope Francis, the United Nations Ambassador for Peace led a climate change panel. Referencing Trump’s assertion that he is “not a big believer in man-made climate change,” DiCaprio, who previously wore his hair in a man bun when environmental fear-mongering before the United Nations, said,

“The scientific consensus is in and the argument is over. If you do not believe in climate change, you do not believe in facts or in science or empirical truths and therefore, in my humble opinion, should not be allowed to hold public office.”

His humble opinion apparently doesn’t take into account such inconvenient truths as the fact that no science is ever settled; that what he falsely calls the “consensus” among scientists is a political one, not a scientific one; and that the left has deemed the argument to be over not because they have won it but because they refuse to have their climate change religion challenged. As for who “should not be allowed” to hold public office, that is up to the voters, not a panel of climate change mandarins.

In the documentary, executive-produced by Martin Scorsese, DiCaprio broadens his already-massive carbon footprint by traveling the world from China to Greenland to India to the Arctic, chatting with people affected by manmade climate change. Sounds entertaining.

The film will debut in theaters on October 21, 2016 — just ahead of the presidential election, coincidentally. Via: Truth Revolt!!
